I’m not deleting anything. I appreciate the feedback, especially from the cats in these comments who come to the site all the time. These are shorts and there are longer episodes on the way. This is just to give you a feel for these guys and the show. There is lots of stuff coming so let me know when we hit something you like. Cause I’m gonna keep posting it. Ha.

Matta is right. I didn’t find this clip funny at all. As a avid follower of this site since 2008. I think i might know what the problem is, at least what vibe i get off this clip.
To me, what makes Us versus Them is “US” the people. This site, Brock and in the beginning Brock and all the regulars who have left comments on this site over the years. Has taken real world issues that people blow out of proportion, and has broken down the realist form. Kobe does all white photo shoot. “Them” be kissing Kobe ass saying he looks great. “US” be calling him out saying he look like a damn fool! Man up Monday, Man up of the year, all calling people out on their dumb shit. “US” isn’t afraid to say the things “Them” won’t. Whether it be from Brock or Jezus, Matta, myself, or anyone else who drops knowledge and thought on this site on the regular.
Which brings me to my problem about this clip. Those 2 guys just don’t come off as real at all. They feel like “Them” not “US”. The black guy seemed like he was trying to hard to act black. Being a black man myself i thought that fool was about to drop a classic “WASSSSSUUUUPPPPP” when he was telling his story. And the white guy. The less i say about him the better. The point is they didn’t feel real, they felt like they was getting paid to do a job.
I would much rather see one host, do it up like this website. Have the people build it up. What i mean by that is maybe take it to the streets. Have someone, either the host themselves. Or a sidekick who brings up the topics to people on the street and hear their crazy sex story. It would be real and genuine story. And if their in a group and the person never heard the story, their reaction could be just as funny if it’s a good story. Then have the host comment on what he heard or share his story. But in a real way, not like dude was doing in the clip.
Sorry to everyone that this went on too long. But even though i don’t have a direct hand in this project of Brock’s. Like i said, I’ve been following this site since the Mike Tyson banner on the site. Wouldn’t that be classic if you caught Tyson on the street and he shared a crazy sex story? Hopefully it don’t make him think about that rape case and he punch the cameraman out.

Maybe I’m a simpleton or just have such an affinity for UvT that I can’ be too critical but I like it. It felt like a UvT post – spoke truth, had humor (not laugh out loud), splash of hizzoes, and vegas. I guess if selecting premier clip should be like dy-lan..hot fire.

Damn homey. Rosy_f hit you with that slow burn (not laugh out loud). That is the definition of damning with faint praise. Almost Ian- like efficiency. That being said, you know the UvT faithful are riding with you in all your endeavors.
BTW- in response to Matta fact… Having been in front of the camera a few times I have to say that it is the most unnatural experience in the world. Turns out that acting natural in front of the camera just doesn’t translate well. That being said, those two cats just don’t have what it takes.
@Reg I didn’t mean it like that I swear. I was just saying it was funny but not laugh out which is fine. I was trying to give an honest assessment. I am definitely part of the UvT faithful and will keep watching.
I have to say I’m with the rest of the commentors. The delivery felt a little stiff and inauthentic. But I’m not quite ready to say these guys can’t do a good job. I think I can get a feel for what you’re trying to do and I think it could be cool. I would like to reserve judgement till I see a few more clips.

I have this one friend .. hes a talented guy ..and has …at times made alot of money just working his trade.. but he is a dreamer… he works ..stacks madd dough .. and almost yearly squanders it into some outlandish seeming investment/business opportunity…. that have all failed thusfar .. year after year….

Wow after reading all these comments I really would like to know what Kim of host you want?? It’s the FIRST teaser guys geesh! It’s very OBVIOUS Giovanni made the story up and was over the top! In my opinion they BOTH are very good and represent UVT! I think there a great balance Giovanni is more animated while Dave is more laid back…. And I think it’s also a good balance of natural witha little acting NO show on tv is natural not even reality @brock I’m excited to see full episodes with these two!
